Hello everyone, I'm a 46-year-old hobby programmer from Delhi. I've been learning coding and programming as a hobby for the past 7 years. I started with VB.net, then some JS, followed by Python. After that, I tried basic languages and really enjoyed it (QB64 then FreeBASIC). Currently, my main programming language is FreeBASIC, and I'm also learning C and C++ (mainly C).
I have experience in coding chatbots (without ML or AI algorithms) and text games with sound and music. I consider myself a "retro" coder since I mainly learn "old school" coding and programming, not "modern" (Retro programming involves 32-bit not 64-bit and no OOP, but POP). I'm looking to meet others who are into FreeBASIC or C/C++ programming and maybe teach or learn from each other, and possibly do some game development together. Thank you.
