Hey there, fellow learner!
Have you ever enrolled in a course/started studying a book…but were unable to finish it? Me too 😛
Most of us struggle with accountability. In addition, it’s tough to complete a difficult course/book without teachers/mentors. That’s why I’m building Moocable!
Moocable is a peer-learning platform, where you can find study partners and find community + feedback + support.
But, unlike most learning communities, Moocable is an outcome-based community. (I’ll explain this in a minute)
What is a “MOOC”?
Technically, MOOC is an acronym for “Massive Open Online Courses”. However, on Moocable, a MOOC could be:
1. 📺 An online course: Courses hosted on Coursera, edX, MIT OpenCourseWare, FreeCodeCamp, etc. For example: CS50, Learning how to learn, Introduction to Public speaking
2. 📚 A Book: Techincal books, non-fiction titles, workbooks. For example: Designing Data-Intensive Applications, On Writing Well, Storytelling in design.
3. 💪 A Problem set: Coding exercises, challenges, worksheets. For example: Leetcode problems, UI Challenges, The 30-day product exercise challenge
How does it work?
- You find your next course/book/problem set through our catalog
- Find study partners on our community platform
- Organize study groups - find feedback + support + accountability - and crush your goals!
Who is it for?
